• It is a fully functional individual desk
• If you are coming to the office, having a desk like this is often your main concern.
• This is a workspace that you, in most cases, are using for the full day.

These are small meeting rooms in an enclosed office space. Rooms of this type are often include a few office chairs / desks and an interactive video screen (optional).

We advise to include this desk type in your bookable office workplaces because:

• Meetings are scheduled further ahead, involve multiple employees, and need reassurance because of time management.

Similarly to Single Flex Desks, these are multiple individual flex desks in an office space. Desks of this type are the most common office workplaces. These desks include a proper (sit/stand) desk, office chair, and a monitor (optional).

We advise to include this desk type in your bookable office workplaces because:

• It is a fully functional individual desk
• If you are coming to the office, having a desk like this is often your main concern.
• This is a workspace that you, in most cases, are using for the full day.

These are single seats at a high table or the high table as a meeting table. Workplaces of this type are placed in the open office space and might be surrounded by whiteboards / plants.

We DO NOT advise to include this desk type in your bookable office workplaces because:

• The single seats at these high table do not count as proper furniture for longer seating periods.
• Because of their placement in the open space, team meetings are often disturbing to other employees and held elsewhere.

• Brainstorms require multiple people and are often scheduled further ahead.
• Brainstorms often take longer than 30 minutes
• The quantity of this type of room might be scarce around the office, hence a higher employee to room ratio.

• The single seats at these tables do not count as proper furniture for longer seating periods.
• These tables often do not include power supply for laptops nor their size are appropriate for longer work periods.
• A healthy mix between bookable and non-bookable workplaces for employees is advised for maximum flexibility.

These are lounge chairs and sofas in an open office space. This type is purely placed to relax and promote (informal) chats along employees.

We DO NOT advise to include this desk type in your bookable office workplaces because:

• It is not expected for employees to schedule "just having a chat" with others, this almost always happens adhoc.
• It is not expected that employees will schedule in their time to relax in any of these sofa's
• A healthy mix between bookable and non-bookable workplaces for employees is advised for maximum flexibility.
